Two Rivers Public Health Department would like to remind you that all students in grades K-12 are required to have TWO doses of Chickenpox (Varicella) vaccine for entrance into school this fall.  This is a requirement for ALL students in ALL grades K-12 at the start of the 2011-2012 school year. 

 

If your child has not had two doses of Varicella vaccine, or a documented (written) history of varicella disease (chickenpox) from a parent or healthcare provider that includes the date of infection, please contact your medical provider or your immunization clinic to arrange a time for your child to get the vaccine before school begins.   If you are not sure if your child has had both immunizations, please contact your medical provider, your immunization clinic, or Two Rivers Public Health Department to confirm your child’s current status.  Parents may also access the Nebraska State Immunization Information System to verify vaccination status at:
