H1N1 Update

1-19-2010

As of January 16, 2010, 20,857 doses of H1N1 vaccine have been administered to people in the Two Rivers Public Health Department District. Last week, during “National Influenza Immunization Week”, there were 2,761 doses of H1N1 vaccine administered in medical clinics, school based clinics and retail pharmacies in the Two Rivers District. We want to thank all of our partners for their time and dedication in providing H1N1 vaccine to protect the people in our area.

This H1N1 influenza season has been very unpredictable and our typical influenza season runs through April, so building immunity through vaccinations is important. H1N1 vaccine is now available to everyone, so if you have not received yours, please contact your medical provider or participating pharmacies to schedule an appointment.
